Creating a Full Backup
Creating a Full Backup will save all of your domain's information - files, databases, email addresses, etc - into one file. PLEASE NOTE that these backups can ONLY be restored by AxisHost - just upload the backup file, open a helpdesk ticket with the domain and its username, and a staff member will restore your backup for you.

1. Click on "Generate/Download a Full Backup"

2. For "Backup Destination" you will have several options. Select the one that suits you best
Home Directory - This will backup your domain to the domain's home directory. Note that storing the backup file here will count against the domain's alloted space.
Remote FTP Server, Remote FTP Server (passive mode transfer), scp - This will store the backup file somewhere else - another server, for example.

3. Enter the email address where you would like to receive the results of your backup.

4. If you selected Remote FTP Server, Remote FTP Server (passive mode transfer), or scp for "Backup Destination", you will need to enter the server name, username, password, port, and (optionally) the specific directory to save to. You will need to get this information from the other server/provider.

5. Click "Generate Backup". Your backup will be created and stored in the selection you chose. When it has completed you will receive an email with details of the backup, and whether or not it was successful.
